Summoners are a Portsmouth-based alternative rock band backed by BBC Introducing, who described them as “truly a once in a generation new rock band that are destined for a bright and stratospheric future.”
 

The band built rapid momentum through a prolific and critically acclaimed release run in 2025, releasing six singles and their debut EP No Control within a six-month period. That run saw Summoners surpass 95,000 streams in under a year, receive seven BBC Introducing plays, and gain international radio rotation, including 350 plays and 35 playlist adds on Amazing Radio, alongside features from Total Rock and wider press coverage.

Praising their distinctive identity, Phase B Records described the band as “too weird for the mainstream, too accessible for the purists, and weaponising that tension.”
 

Live, Summoners have moved quickly from support slots to headline shows, culminating in a BBC Introducing-backed, sold-out EP launch and earning a reputation for intense, high-impact performances. Now recording new material, the band are entering 2026 fulfilling early “next big thing” predictions from rock tastemakers as they take their next significant step forward.
